How to Use Your Scanner
- Ensure your vehicle's ignition is turned OFF.
- Locate the 16-pin OBD2 port under your vehicle's dashboard and plug in the scanner.
- Turn the ignition to the ON position (do not start the engine).
- The scanner will boot up automatically. Select 'OBDII/EOBD' from the main menu.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to read fault codes, view live data, or check emissions readiness.
- To clear a code, select 'Erase Codes' after you have investigated and resolved the fault.
